Barnstaple Rugby Club Launches new Academy

 

With sponsorship from Barnstaple Round Table, Barnstaple Rugby Club have announced the launch of their new youth academy.

 

Director of rugby Kevin Squire thanked Barnstaple Round Table, adding that all North Devon clubs would benefit from the new academy.  

Barum have revealed plans to gather together the best young players in the region once a month for on and off-field coaching.

And while Barnstaple hope that will see them signing up the cream of North Devon's rugby talent, they are also keen for the Academy to raise the standard of rugby across the region.

Squire said: "North Devon is an enormous catchment area, but if a player is focused, ambitious and serious about rugby and lives locally, we know about them.

 

Barnstaple Town Majorettes Given Money for Uniforms

  

 Barnstaple Town Majorettes approached Round Table when they were looking to start a twirling section. We helped them by purchasing leotards for the new section.

With enthusiasm and a great new look, the majorettes came home with a haul of trophies from nearly every competition they entered.
